An article with a more neutral tone that goes into detail about how and why this sort of pseudoscience and woo is damaging to public discourse and respect for science would have been much more in line with the Ars that I've come to respect over the years. But what is the point of Ars covering this? This isn't exactly the kind of show that the demographics of this site would be interested in anyway, and while an amusing read, this also seems a bit like a "look how much smarter/superior we are!" circle jerk to attract site traffic. So, everything about and peripheral to this show is awful and has me considering cancelling my Netflix subscription. Based on her interview for this show: everyone else is a peon or rube to her. Or, she could just be a condescending bitch to people she's already met. She may have an issue with facial recognition, it's quite independent of the ability to read or memorize, even didactically. Of course she also commonly forgets what movies she was in and often introduces herself to co stars when meeting them even if she has met and worked with them multiple times. According to fellow actors she’s well known for being able to quickly glance at brand new pages of a script and immediately recited them with no error. Of course her products are bullshit but her business is no joke.Īpparently she is also extremely good at memorizing her lines.
Grundle fleshy fun bridge how to#
She is a very astute business person who can see where the trends are, where they can go and how to milk them for all their worth. This afflicts many people nowadays.īut I would take issue with you calling her an airhead. There's no need to apologise for having a short attention span. Reading the article was fun at first, since I think Gwyneth is full of shit, but I had to give up: it's waaaaayyyy too long even if the purpose is to ridicule that airhead.
